Véronique Briquet-Laugier is an expert in health, environment, and innovation policy. Educated in France and the USA, she has led research projects in Biophysics and Genetics for 15 years. Her experience spans research and innovation, diplomacy, multicultural management, policy development and leadership roles.
She has leadership expertise in water-related programs and policy development through her former position as Coordinator of the Water Joint Programming Initiative (Water JPI), and she served as a diplomat in India and South Africa.

This competence also covers public-private partnerships, international cooperation, and areas of research and innovation programming in water and mental health. Recently, she has been involved in Indo-French cooperation for AI and data production.

Amanda Loeffen is an experienced water governance specialist and general manager in water, energy and sustainable development, leading research in water and environmental law in Africa, Central America, and South Asia.
Her goal is to provide sustainable solutions based on human rights to improve water management at river basin level. She leads a team of water governance experts at the non-governmental organisation, Human Right 2 Water, to encourage law and policy reform and advises European R&I projects that work in the nexus between water, climate change and cultural heritage.

Previously, as CEO of a project management company in New Zealand, Amanda delivered environmental resource consent with stakeholder engagement for a community water infrastructure scheme for irrigation and hydro-generation.
Through methods for inclusive stakeholder engagement, monitoring of human rights-based indicators, and supporting nature-based solutions, Amanda provides structured processes and results to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals.
Oriane Wiser is a dedicated professional in the field of sustainable development and innovation. She currently serves as the Innovation & Exhibitors Manager at ChangeNOW and advises on Sustainable Development for AQUA Legacy. Prior to these roles, Oriane spent over three years as a Program Manager at GSES Management B.V. in Rotterdam, where she contributed significantly to the company’s growth and led various sustainability-focused projects.
Oriane holds a master’s degree in Climate Change and International Development from the University of East Anglia, where she graduated with honours. She also has a bachelor’s degree in governance, Economics, and Development from Leiden University College. Fluent in English and French, with proficiency in Spanish and Arabic, Oriane possesses a diverse skill set including expertise in environmental, economic, and social impact assessments, as well as auditing and reporting for CSRD.
